Seeing/Watching

At the top of a shopping complex in Changsha, China, a pair of 26-foot-tall creatures sit back-to-back overlooking the bustling city and the Xiang River. The sculpture, titled Seeing/Watching, is a landmark achievement for the street artist KAWS, marking his first permanent bronze installation in China and his first joint presentation of his signature characters, Companion and BFF. To celebrate the monumental sculpture, KAWS released collectible versions of the duo, including keychains, t-shirts, tote bags, glass sets, and plush sculptures.
