Eighth House: Benefit Auction 2024

Eighth House Residency + Artsy are thrilled to present Eighth House’s Benefit Exhibition & Auction hosted by Karma Gallery NYC, featuring more than 50 artworks from contemporary artists in support of the organization’s residency program.

The proceeds from this benefit exhibition & auction will provide vital support for the Eighth House residency program. Founded in 2021, Eighth House is an interdisciplinary arts residency program for visual artists and curators located in central Vermont. As a restorative, non-transactional residency, Eighth House’s mission is to support artists by providing a nourishing and inspiring environment to nurture the creative process. As an artist-directed experience, Eighth House encourages restorative practices, personal development, creative experimentation, and cultivation of new ideas within a unique rural setting.

Eighth House welcome artists from all backgrounds and is committed to eliminating any financial barriers that might prevent artists from participating in the program. The residency program offers full funding for each artist in residence, regardless of need. Artists in residence are provided with funds to travel to and from the Vermont location, private housing equipped with a studio space, as well as funding for meals, supplies, and any other necessities for the duration of their stay. Eighth House believes in cultivating and spreading a culture of generosity and inclusivity.

We are very pleased to present the exhibition of artworks at Karma Gallery, currently on view at their 22 East 2nd Street location. Please visit to view these impressive works in person from February 10th - 18th!

Thank you to our participating artists, our board members, friends and galleries who have made this effort possible. We are deeply grateful for your generous support.
