Human Rights Campaign – Artists for Equality: Benefit Auction 2020
Help make urgent change on election day through Artists for Equality, an art auction benefiting the Human Rights Campaign Equality Votes PAC. The Human Rights Campaign is the nation's largest LGBTQ civil rights organization. Proceeds raised from this auction will support the HRC Equality Votes PAC to help mobilize voters to turnout in November and elect pro LGBTQ candidates up and down the ballot, including the White House. Proceeds go right to electoral work for the elections. HRC is proud to partner with this incredible group of artists who are supporting these efforts.
By participating in the auction, each bidder certifies as follows:
As this benefit supports a federal political committee, contributions must be from US citizens or lawfully admitted permanent residents (i.e. green card holders); contributions must come from your own funds, may not be provided to you by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution; you are making this contribution with your own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person; you are at least 18 years old; and you are not a federal contractor. Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes and will be used for political purposes. Corporate or foreign national contributions are prohibited.
Federal law requires Human Rights Campaign to use their best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.
