Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit 17th Annual Art Auction

Over the years, funds raised from MOCAD’s Art Auction have helped the Museum provide over 1,000 public programs and highlight over 650 artists. Artists featured at MOCAD include some of the most important visual and performing artists of our time. They include Mark Bradford, Kara Walker, Richard Prince, and KAWS, as well as Detroit luminaries like Tyree Guyton, Leni Sinclair, and Gilda Snowden, and musicians such as Quest Love and the founding fathers of techno, the Belleville Three.

Bidding will be open exclusively on Artsy and will begin to close at 12pm EDT on Monday, October 16, 2023.

Each work ships from a different location, as noted on the individual lot pages. Shipping costs and all applicable fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

The countdown timer on the artwork pages will display the end time for the lot. Each lot closes in 1-minute increments and will be reset to 2 minutes if a bid is placed within the 2 minutes before the lot's scheduled closing time. For further information please see our FAQ.
