New York Studio School: Benefit Auction 2023

New York Studio School welcomes you to its 2023 Benefit Auction, hosted on Artsy from Thursday, October 5, through Friday, October 20. More than sixty outstanding artists have generously contributed work this year, including Lois Dodd, Alex Katz, Kiki Smith, and Terry Winters, among others.

Bidding will be open exclusively on Artsy and will begin to close on Friday, October 20 at 12pm EDT (5pm BST).

This auction coincides with the 2023 Annual Benefit on Thursday, October 19, where the works will be on view at the School throughout the evening. To learn more about the event or to attend, please click here.

New York Studio School is dedicated to giving a significant education to aspiring artists that can last a lifetime. Founded in the 1960s by artists for artists, the School is located in a National Historic Landmark in Greenwich Village that once served as the original Whitney Museum of American Art. By supporting the 2023 Benefit Auction, you strengthen a historic institution and the community of artists, faculty, lecturers, and wider public who participate in and benefit from our beloved studio art programs, lectures, and exhibitions.

All works are shipped from New York, NY. Pre-arranged, local pick-up may be an option. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

The countdown timer on the artwork pages will display the end time for the lot. Each lot closes in 1-minute increments and will be reset to 2 minutes if a bid is placed within the 2 minutes before the lot's scheduled closing time. For further information please see our FAQ.
