Vincent Price Art Museum: Benefit Auction 2023

Welcome to the East Los Angeles College silent art auction benefiting the Vincent Price Art Museum!

The Illuminators Gala is VPAMF's largest annual fundraising event, where devoted community members and supporters gather to advance VPAM's mission as a teaching museum that empowers the students of East Los Angeles College and its surrounding communities by providing world-class exhibitions that highlight diverse and local perspectives; a place of belonging where local audiences gather to experience and enjoy the arts for free; and educational opportunities for students who want to pursue careers in the arts and museum fields.

The majority of the artists and gallerists in our community who have donated works to this auction will receive up to 20% of the sale price, in keeping with VPAM's mission to support our artist community, while the remainder (80–100%) will raise funds for the museum's operations and programming.

Bidding will take place exclusively on Artsy from 9 AM PDT on Tuesday, July 18.

The auction will begin to close at 11 AM PDT on Tuesday, August 1.

Please note that all artworks are shipped from Monterey Park, California, or may be picked up in person from the VPAM with prior arrangement. Packing, shipping, and all additional costs are the buyer's responsibility. For inquiries, please contact specialist@artsy.net.
