Seventy-Six

With “Seventy-Six,” CMO of Artsy, Everette Taylor, curates a collection of 76 works by 76 artists that span the African diaspora. The number “76” was chosen and inspired by the founding of KKR in 1976, but also America’s Independence Day of 1776 that did not represent true freedom for Black Americans. This collection, presented in honor of Black History Month, brings together historically important Black artists and currently emerging talents alike that work across painting, sculpture, photography, and more. Each work purchased will be matched by KKR, with proceeds donated to a charitable cause.
