Rodrigo Torres presents the installation A Safe Place, made up of seven new sculptures. Created out of his interest in leftover buildings and elements of nature found in the Tijuca Forest, the works on display are the result of a long journey of experimentation with different techniques, such as painting and collage, leading to ceramics. The title of the work comes “from the place of memory that speaks of the feeling of protection of childhood, that place to which one can return”, explains the artist.
