Statement
Laura Giardino shares with her characters the responsibility of holding us in front of that portion of the world she chooses to stage just as a director. She tries to defend them even if the protagonists of her stories are accomplices of their own oppression,as we all easily are.

Interior of houses, glimpses of rooms and isolated streets, female characters never completely revealed. Women, waiting or fugitive, portrayed in a moment of action that can be very long. They are moments of life that could belong to anyone, like in a movie.
The affinity between the artist and the director Marina Spada,who curates the show, is due to the cinematographic character of Giardino’s artworks.
