This exhibition highlights the dialogue between both artists in their existential quest as they confront their impermanence in the face of daily reality. Quentin Derouet, while in residence in Yunnan province, used the rose to create a distinct body of work where the flower is cut off from its symbolic meaning and transcends into a new mythology. Wan Qiong's signature ceramic sculptures present an installation composed of nine distinct bamboo works.
