bG Gallery is thrilled to present Time to Make the Donuts, a solo exhibition by fiber artist Carol Powell. The series, titled after the 1980s cult-classic Dunkin Donuts ad campaign, parodies nostalgic advertising from the 1950s-1980s replacing the products advertised with donuts. The exhibition itself consists of a baker's dozen of intricately hand-threaded embroideries accompanied by drawings and plush sculptures.
