BLANK SPACE is pleased to present our autumn exhibition ‘Negative Space’, featuring mixed media works by Martijn Hesseling and Yoo Hyun. The exhibition will open to the public on September 24th, with a reception from 6 to 8 pm, and will be on view until November 9th.

This exhibition brings together two artists who differ in subject and style but share similarities in their choice of medium; cut paper. From a distance, Hesseling’s scenes might at be mistaken as dark and intricate charcoal drawings or paintings, while Hyun’s work looks almost like a screen print or inverted photograph. …
