Michel Platnic’s visual constructs are idiosyncratic ventures into the use of the human body as a mean for liberation. The body – more than often his own after undergoing a thorough preparation -, is allowed to move within the newly formed space, familiarizing with this cabin, hosting an alternative world. This space gives reality a substantial role infused with intertextuality and recognizable references yet is occupied by a fictional matrix where all paradigms have shifted shape and vanish.
