Recalling the soft glow of a sunset, Aki+Arnaud Cooren’s Ishigaki Lamp #17 Dune (2023) is inspired by Arnaud’s free diving experiences off the coast of Ishigaki island, south of Japan. The light of the piece is projected upwards, producing a mesmerising shadow above that compliments Nacho Carbonell’s Growing Glass 1, with its organic glass canopy welded onto a metal trunk, emiting a warming light.
