The exhibition takes its title from an important monograph on Teraoka titled "Waves and Plagues" published by Chronicle Books in 1988 and offers a rare opportunity to see watercolors, drawings, and multiples from two iconic bodies of work: the "AIDS Series" and "Waves Series."
