Artist Statement

I primarily explore femininity in my works, especially its complexities delving into themes of appearance, self-reflection, and loneliness that speak on social issues faced by women in modern African societies.

My latest body of work draws from personal experiences with encountering social bias, pressures, and expectations of what and how a woman should be while admiring and finding strength in women that are overcoming these issues.
