About

Statement

Inspired by The Hallucinogenic Toreador, perhaps one of Salvador Dali's most remarkable works, we have the pleasure to show you a selection of Dali's original graphic works where we can appreciate his obsessions, the quest for God and Gala, the Venus replicated to infinity.

Press Release

"The matronly Venus de Milo, replicated, ... had long been an element in Dali's personal mythology. It was the first female figure he had ever modelled in clay, ... For a young lad, the Venus was the peak of erotic attraction; and Dali, as we have seen, was partial to the female anatomy." Robert Descharnes and Gilles Néret on The Hallucinogenic Toreador, Dali The Paintings.
