"The Counter/Public is where the subaltern change culture and create counter narratives that fit our own definitions of who we are. These works focus on my own migrant history to speak about a larger communal experience of people of color living in the USA at a time of crisis."

Please join us this Saturday evening, September 21st, from 6-8pm for a very special kind of artist talk & mural screening with exhibiting artist @layqanunayawar as he presents, “COUNTER/NARRATIVE — a Virtual Tour of Invisible Murals.”
A slideshow of LNY’s murals from around the world will be projected on the big screen while he shares with us the stories behind them. Do not miss this rare opportunity to hear LNY speak about his mural work — this is a free event open to all.
