For his first solo exhibition with Diane Rosenstein Gallery, Los Angeles-based interdisciplinary artist Lorenzo Hurtado Segovia (Mexico, b. 1979) will show four recent landscape paintings, a woven textile, and a pall – a sculpture in drawn textile, beadwork, and acrylic paint.

For his first solo exhibition with Diane Rosenstein Gallery, Los Angeles-based interdisciplinary artist Lorenzo Hurtado Segovia (Mexico, b. 1979) will show four recent landscape paintings, a woven textile, and a pall – a sculpture in drawn textile, beadwork, and acrylic paint. Titled Vida, pasión, y muerte (2017), the sculpture will stand in the middle of the gallery space. This viewing room offers “a contemplation on paradoxical embodiments of God as cloud and fire in scripture,” writes the artist.
