In 2013, Carole Freeman, a fierce figurative painter, embarked on a series of paintings about the art world. Titled "Dear Art World," it features portraits of artists, art dealers, art critics and arguably the best Art Fairs!

Dru Arstark is pleased to present an online exhibition of Art Fairs from Carole Freeman's series about the art world, "Dear Art World." Ranging in size from 11 x 8.5" to 72 x 42, each is a well-observed slice of life one typically sees in booths at art fairs : people on cellphones,; eating a sandwich; elaborate, attention-getting outfits, and some actually looking at the art.
