Estrid Lutz is a french artist (b. 1989) living and working in Mexico- Puerto Escondido Oaxacan Pacific coast since 2018.

Fascinated by the connections between art, science, and technology, Lutz experiments with techno-specific materials. Equally interested in living organisms, such as bioluminescent planktons, honeycomb cells, viruses, and reptile skin structures, Lutz aims to emulate their natural phenomena by fusing industrial materials with chemicals that physically react to their climate; being submerged in water, exposed to light or heat.
