The project “Vis a Vis” at VOLUME! developed in a collaboration with the Polish Institute con-siders issues of contemporary life such as, modernism childhood, memory, collective identity, and the uncertainty of individualism. The artists Balka and Pirri come together in the creation of “Vis a Vis”. Starting from the idea of a city as a a microcosm for our times. Pierre works on the ground of the space with colored glass referring to the utopica ideals of the renaissance city. He questions these ideals with the menacing position of the glass.
