In Gonzalo Fuenmayor's work, lies a deep reflection on the perceptions of Caribbean and tropical identity from an exogenous perspective that consciously or not, exotizes and stereotypes the subject, idiosyncratic referents, the nature and characteristic elements of this geographical imaginary.
