Blek Le Rat has been inspired by the great masters of the Renaissance since the early ’80. Ever since, he brings to life the key-pieces of Art History on the streets all over the world. This approach aims at introducing the masterpieces of the XVI and XVII Century, locked up in museums and institutions, to the people outside on the streets. Blek le Rat shares the beauty of these works with everyone. The religious and mythological paintings are revisited through his own perception of art, which belongs to the universe of Street Art and stencil.
