With Peter Keetman, Galerie Julian Sander is exhibiting one of the central figures in German post-war photography. In 1949 he was one of the founders of the fotoform group, which, with its experimental, graphically concise works, drew on the photographic avant-garde of the 1920s.
The approx. 40 vintage prints from Gerd Sander's estate were recently rediscovered. They include some of Keetman's most famous photos, but also lesser-known works of the highest aesthetic standard.
Opening on April 21, 2023 with an introduction by Prof. Rolf Sachsse.
