Yinarupa Nangala gained in prominence after a showing of her work at the Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW in 2014. https://www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/prizes/wynne/2014/29545/
Her paintings are aerial views of the Rockhole sites in the area around her birth place. Included in her paintings are her graphic representation of the bush foods including kampurarrpa berries (desert raisin) from the small shrub Solanu centrale and pura (bush tomato) from the Solanum chipppendalci plant.
