The exhibition Concrete and Tyres will inaugurate the new gallery space for GBS Fine Art at 13 Sadler Street, Wells BA5 2RR in Somerset. The title of the show references verse from Larkin’s 1972 poem Going Going.

To inaugurate the new gallery at 13 Sadler Street in Wells, GBS Fine Art are proud to announce an opening exhibition entitled Concrete and Tyres, referencing a verse from Larkin’s 1972 poem Going Going. The exhibition will continue until November 27th.The gallery is open Wednesday-Saturday 11am-6pm.
And that will be England gone,
The shadows, the meadows, the lanes,
The guildhalls, the carved choirs.
There’ll be books; it will linger on
In galleries; but all that remains
For us will be concrete and tyres.
