Introducing the musicians: - Nicholas Charles Bouloukos Nicholas Charles Bouloukos is a Hong Kong-based composer, pianist, keyboardist, music producer and educator. He has performed extensively around the world as a solo pianist, featured soloist, big band conductor, and accompanist to world-class vocalists and virtuoso instrumentalists. A semi-finalist in Montreux Jazz Festival’s inaugural 1999 Solo Piano Competition, he has worked extensively in a wide variety of genres: in the pop world as touring pianist for artists such as G.E.M. and Karen Mok and music director/ pianist for Sandy Lam and Tia Ray; as a composer and director of musical theatre; as pianist and music director for international jazz touring artists like Dee Dee Bridgewater, Laura Fygi, Antonio Hart and Steve Wilson; and as a producer and performer of Black American Music, Greek folk music, world music, fusion and straightahead jazz. Nicholas’s latest recording, “Earth is Rocking in Space,” featuring Dayna Stephens, Clarence Penn and Matt Penman, is available on all major online platforms. - Alan Kwan Alan Kwan is an award-nominated jazz guitarist, composer, producer and educator. Kwan was born in Hong Kong and started playing guitar at the age of 14. Kwan devoted himself to jazz under the tutelage of local jazz musicians Ted Lo and Eugene Pao before embarking on his journey as a jazz artist. He took his pursuit of jazz music further by completing Master of Music in Jazz Performance at Queens College, City University of New York in 2017. Kwan has actively performed in New York, Texas, Tokyo, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He has performed or recorded with a number of well-known jazz musicians with performances ranging from jazz gigs, stage performances to outdoor performances. - Jon Reshard Jon Reshard is an American musician, composer, producer and electric bass player. Reshard received his first endorsements and recorded his debut solo album (22) with drum phenom Tony Royster Jr. (Jay-Z) by age 15. Before graduating high school, Jon’s work had been covered by every major U.S. bass publication and many editorials around the world touting him as a prodigy. Since then, he has produced, written and/or performed on many albums and projects including Greg Howe’s Soundproof, his own eponymous solo album, Elixir On Mute, The Memorials, Steve Vai, Prince and many more. Jon Is currently producing All-4-Ones's re-release of "I Swear" (David Foster) 25th anniversary, His groups "Vigilant", debut release and several high profile Asian artists. and working on Wayne Brady's sophomore project. Jon writes for Universal and Warner Chappell hill as a writer/producer.
