Back to Fault Lines at Hancock Gallery
About
Statement
"Fault Lines is an exhibition that features volcanic landscapes from the Pacific and Atlantic. It is this interconnectedness I’m trying to evoke, which stems from the larger questions of the cost of human impact, renewal, and regrowth that inherently drives my work."

We’re so thrilled to share with you our next exhibition featuring the work of emerging London-based artist, Kristina Chan. The exhibition, which will run from Saturday 8th July until the end of September, draws inspiration from landscape, metaphor, and memory - at the core Kristina's artwork tells a story that is both personal and universal.
In an age where digital imagery dominates our lives, Kristina's artwork stands out as a physical, handmade product that is rich with emotion. Her analog printing methods are a rarity in the contemporary art world, and her work is a testament to the value of traditional techniques.
The title, ‘Fault Lines’ is taken from tectonic shifts and volcanic rifts from which Kristina’s work was drawn from, the places she captured the inspiration for the exhibition were all along tectonic ranges in Israel, Canada and Hawaii.
