The installation amplifies its immersive value through the sound played in the gallery space, signed by Cristin Negriuc. From the beginning of the discussions, there has been an idealization aimed at bringing common materials used for the installation closer to the aesthetic and spatial potential imagined by the artist and an exaggeration of the concept which came with an evident and natural gap between the work and its thematic potential. Blight is the artist’s attempt to bring qualities or processes of degradation from the real world into his dream world, and especially to bring his dream among us, once affected by realism. In other words, the theme is a dialogue between the artist’s reality and his dream world, and furthermore, it is the struggle to keep both worlds together.
