Rudy Beerens: Part One brings a selection of early work from 1983 and 1984 into the daylight. These paintings on aluminium and hardboard have not been shown since the early nineties. Rudy Beerens was a prolific painter and stored (not always very well) his work in his basement or attic and tended to forget about them.

Hubert Kalkman [owner Kalkman Gallery] has curated a collection of Rudy Beeren's earliest work from the collection he has left after his passing. Rudy Beerens (1950 - 2023) left his daughter 1000+ artworks and asked Hubert to manage it. The new space offers the opportunity …
