Hanne Friis / Lynda Benglis presents a dialogue between two generations of artists driven by material exploration who share a desire to merge process and form. This is Friis’ first exhibition in the U.S. and is accompanied by a catalog with an essay by critic and art historian Amanda Gluibizzi.

In her sculptures, Friis utilizes natural and synthetic fabrics to create amorphous, intricately patterned forms made of folds, spirals, and twists.
