A SOLO PRESENTATION WITH SOFIE BIRD MØLLER
The Danish artist Sofie Bird Møller is known for her work with fashion advertisements and poster from the public space. The advertisements are torn out from well-­‐known magazines or advertisement posters and with precision but also decided violence Sofie Bird Møller has painted over the models in the advertisements so they appear as abstract forms and so the painted shapes partly obscure what lies underneath.
