Surface Spectrum is a museum-inspired art exhibition at Mash Gallery opening to the public on April 27, from 7 PM to 10 PM.
Surface Spectrum features artists who love to include texture in their work and versed in painting, sculpture, mixed media and installation. Artists will showcase different contemporary art styles including Gestural Painting, Textiles, Art Brut, Earth Works, and Abstraction.
Featured Surface Spectrum artists include Scott Albrecht, Vanessa Barragao, Susan Carr, Ty Nathan Clark, Chris DeKnikker, Stephen Donofrio, Richard Downs, Scott Daniel Ellison, Stefan Heyer, Haleh Mashian, Bruno Miguel, Jaybo Monk, John Monn, and Fran O’Neill.
Curator Mark Murphy shares, “Surface Spectrum features multi-disciplined approach to contemporary art featuring fluid brush strokes, dimensional adornments, sculptural treatments, textiles and a mix of all of the fore mentioned.” Surface Spectrum is the companion exhibition to Radiant Spectrum held earlier at Mash Gallery.
Mash Gallery presents Surface Spectrum curated by Mark Murphy April 27 through June 8, and opening reception Saturday, April 27, 7 PM - 10 PM.
