The goal of this exhibit is to familiarize people with Brazilian design by showing iconic pieces done in the past, as well as contemporary pieces that demonstrate what is being produced today.
On view, there is seating created by some of the main modern designers such as Joaquim Tenreiro, Zanine Caldas, Sergio Rodrigues, and the contemporary production by Hugo França, Rodrigo Simão, and others. The Flama chair is not the most iconic piece done by the Campana brothers, but in this set, it represents the transition between modern and contemporary design.
