In this virtual exhibition, Meyerovich Gallery presents new works by Contemporary American painter and iconic street artist, Kenny Scharf. Who was one of the first artists to inject elements of street culture into mainstream contemporary art. Scharf is fascinated by the surrealist and pop art movements. His works gained him notoriety and fame in the New York 1980s East Village art scene along with Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol.
These selected works with a vibrant and whimsical composition are an excellent example of Scharf’s contemporary style.
