Press Release
Contemporary Japan can be said to be supported by two polarized cultures. There is the traditional minimalism and wabi-sabi aesthetic, and there is the modern pop subculture of manga and anime.
In the midst of these conflicting cultures, Japanese artists have been able to move freely back and forth and create an art world that has never existed before.
Such a fusion of traditional Japanese culture cultivated over a long history and modern pop culture is attracting a lot of sympathy and support, especially in Asia.
