Press Release

During the 1960's and 1970's ~ New York City based artist George Vranesh traveled frequently to Alaska and throughout the Pacific Northwest Coast in search of artistic inspiration. The sketches and studies of the villages, coastlines, sea, land and sky that he did there led to a major group of large scale paintings, watercolors and prints now known as his Alaskan Horizons series. This exhibition focuses exclusively on the limited edition prints he created following his travels.
