Opera Gallery is delighted to present Juan Genovés's inaugural solo exhibition in Paris, titled Ágora. The traveling exhibit, spanning from Singapore in November to Paris, features works from 2006 until the artist's passing in 2020, including a collection of metal sculptures from 2004. Emerging during the Franco dictatorship, Genovés's artistic evolution reflects a commitment to freedom, transitioning from informal art to provocative expressionism in the 1960s and later embracing political realism through collage in the 1970s.
