Back to Alison Watt: A Shadow on the Blind at Parafin
About
Statement
Alison Watt’s new paintings constitute an interrogation of the genre of still life, and focus on objects such as a folded sheet of paper, draped cloth, a feather and a coiled hose, and are inspired by Thomas Warrender's ‘Still Life’ (1708) and the photography of Margaret Watkins.
