To mark the opening of our forthcoming exhibition, Fruit of Friendship: Portraits by Mary Beale, our Researcher & Exhibitions Coordinator Ellie Smith will be in conversation with Lucy West, Assistant Curator at the Dulwich Picture Gallery about the remarkable Mary Beale (1633-1699), one of Britain’s first professional woman artists.
The talk has been organised by London Art Week and will be mediated by Christopher Baker, Editor of The Burlington Magazine. It will take place via Zoom on Thursday, 25th of April at 5pm (BST) / 12pm (EDT).
