Press Release
Surrealism in British Art is a gallery display of work by John Armstrong, Cecil Beaton, Paul Nash, and other early twentieth-century artists who explored the subconscious. The display will compliment Dulwich Picture Gallery's exhibition, British Surrealism, which opens on 27 February 2020. Curated by Dr David Boyd Haycock, the exhibition at Dulwich will be the first major exhibition of its kind since 1986. Dr Haycock has previously worked with Piano Nobile to curate Paul Nash: Another Life, Another World, an exhibition held at the gallery in 2014.
