Pilar Corrias gallery opened in 2008. Since the beginning the gallery has worked closely with emerging and established artists. The gallery places a strong focus on working with young artists. 10 out of the 15 represented gallery artists are under 40 years old. The gallery represents an equal number of female and male artists. The central aim of the gallery is to allow young artists’ work to grow both in terms of production of new projects and of the making of new exhibitions. Alongside its internal programming, the gallery places great importance on dialogue with institutions.
