"These solar amulets, crafted from found objects like relics, prisms, wood, magnifying glasses, woodworking, nests, analog cameras, and
mirrors, all reflect, measure, and capture light in unique ways. Most
of them evoke nostalgia for past photographic practices, forming an
abstract language from research instruments that create a repertoire rich in symbols and representations. When these ritual objects interact with sunlight, they activate a connection with the ancient—a translation of the old sun, invoking the intangible and liminal qualities that characterize this light."
