For The Armory Show 2021, Rebecca Camacho Presents is thrilled to debut a solo installation of Jamil Hellu's photographic series Hues. Presenting 10 works from the series of 69 total, photos are editions of 3 and available in two sizes.

Growing up in England, Carrie Morrison detested having to wear a male uniform in school. She always knew she was not a boy., 2018

“The horse world I grew up riding and competing in central California was so horribly sexist; girls and women were often seen only as sexual objects, not as talented riders and trainers,” recalls Penelope Whitney who is inspired by the story of Charley Parkhurst, aka One-Eyed Charley. Celebrated as a stagecoach driver during the Gold Rush, it was discovered after his death that Parkhurst was biologically female., 2018

"Growing up in Australia I really felt isolated from the rest of the world. In a sense, there's a feeling of double isolation when you're gay. The sight of the iconic surf lifesavers at Aussie beaches was one of the first images of the male body available to me that I was able to sexualize," says Luke Anthony, whose first sexual encounters were amongst the waves of the Pacific., 2018

“Self-identified as non-binary transmasculine, Eli Chi comes from a Chinese family who immigrated to the United States from Cuba. He’s one of the founders of the Tender Bois Club, a music production house modeling the kind of tender, creative, and connected masculinity he wishes to see in the world., 2019

“I was not out in prison mainly because I didn’t want more problems than I already had. It can look like you’re soft, and that’s the last thing you want to be called in prison,” said Derek Chowning who went to a state correctional facility in Oklahoma for 4 ½ years when he was 19., 2018

"I'm Mexican born, honoring the remnants of my indigenous legacy at every step and breath of my path," says Gisella Ramirez who grew up in East Los Angeles. "Cultures are not meant to be stagnant, they are meant to evolve," she states., 2018
