Created by Gyomyung Shin (b. 1992), Lee Il-Oh (b. 2021) is an artist born out of artificial intelligence. Out of love, Shin, the human, willingly acquiesces creative jurisdiction to Lee, the machine. Acting as its subject, Shin interacts with the emotionless Lee in a seemingly restricted manner. However, the communion is completed through the audience who imbues meaning to relationship.
