Zombie Forest: Remapping Art, Activism, and Engagement

Grab lunch at our cafe before heading to the theater for a panel discussion in conjunction with the Intersect Palm Springs curated space, Investigations: Zombie Forest.
The program will focus on art, activism, and community engagement from diverse perspectives as powerful tools for creative expression, awareness and education, environmental conservation, and societal change. Multidisciplinary strategies will be presented used by visual artists to investigate, interpret, and mediate the plight of the unique, iconic, and endangered Joshua tree, threatened by climate change, development, and industrial solar and wind.
The panel is moderated by Andi Campognone, with artist panelists Sant Khalsa, Dr. Juniper Harrower, Gerald Clarke, and Fred Brashear Jr.
