Shibunkaku is pleased to highlight a selection of works by Shiraga Kazuo, a leading figure in Japanese post-war art at ART FAIR TOKYO 2024. Originally collected by a close associate of the artist, this collection will be on view for the very first time to the public. From dynamic large-scale oil painting from the 1970s, to striking washes of sumi ink works, we welcome you to enjoy the world of Shiraga’s diverse expressions.
