Notorious Rowdies – a series of performative photographs by Clare Arni marks Arni’s third solo exhibition at TARQ. The term ‘rowdy’ has a particularly evocative quality in South India. The ‘rowdy’ is an unsavoury character, an outlaw, with a strangely alluring bravado.
