In abstract painting, color is often used as a dominant means of expression and communication and is given primacy over form, line, and content. Leaning heavily on its power to convey emotions, moods, and sensations, color. Common among the artists in this exhibition is their expressive use of color however each have approached its effect differently, Komarin bold and energetic, McDonnell moody and mysterious, Zinsser explosive, and Stamos serene.
